Canon Event

I believe, your childhood shapes your thinking patterns, but there's usually one event that shifts your entire perspective. Mine happened in January 2023.

I was sitting on a roof, watching cars pass on the highway. Nothing unusual. Then something happened that I still can't fully explain - a sudden flood of understanding hit me. Not emotion, not spirituality, something more like pure clarity. Psychologist Richard Maurice called this Cosmic Consciousness. I did some research and found similar experiences in figures like Tesla, Einstein, and Blake before they had their breakthroughs.

The shift was immediate. I started noticing the underlying patterns in human behavior, institutional structures, artificial constraints, societal systems & extractive models disguised as solutions that most don't notice.

Before this, I was focused on grades, side hustles or survival metrics, the standard priorities for early 20s. After, those seemed like distractions. The signal-to-noise ratio in my decision-making improved dramatically:

Before After
I was focusing on personal advancement I started having systemic understanding
I was competing within systems I started recognizing flawed systems
I was accepting established narratives I started identifying core mechanisms
I was following conventional paths I started building alternative frameworks
I was optimizing for short-term I started optimizing for multi-decade perspective

This wasn't some spiritual awakening but more like a cognitive recalibration. The way information was processing changed entirely, My pattern recognition abilities accelerated, My ability to differentiate between societal programming and actual reality became automatic.

The importance of "my life" diminished but my understanding about humanity's collective potential increased. The questions that once required external validation now started resolving internally through improved mental models.

This shift changed everything. Not just how I think, but what I choose to work on. What problems matter. What solutions might actually work. It's why I approach things differently now.

I'm sharing this because I think it's a common experience. We're all born with the potential to have these shifts. It's just a matter of when and how.
